SUMMARY:
University of Washington Medicine Center (UWMC) is comprised of nearly 28,000 healthcare providers, researchers, faculty and staff serving the Puget Sound area. UWMC’s Heart Institute is at the forefront of cardiovascular innovation. UWMC engaged Bloom Projects as they sought to reimagine an existing facility into a state-of-the-art 14,300 square foot primary care and heart institute to serve the local patient population in Mountlake Terrace, Seattle.
The project included a complete renovation from top to bottom. Build-out required BP to coordinate extensively among internal teams. Additionally, BP led the procurement process for general contractor services. The result was an impressive facility that enables the top-level care UWMC provides their community. The project was completed on schedule and within budget.
