SUMMARY:
University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) is a premier healthcare system that integrates comprehensive patient care and nationally ranked research for over 300 medical clinics. UWMC sought to expand their clinical network to the Ballard neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. BP was engaged to construct a 30,000 square foot multi-clinic facility including Urgent Care, Sports Medicine and Primary Care.
There were unique requirements for each of the clinics. Urgent care included a CT scanner, pharmacy, patient exam rooms, and a separate entrance area. Sports Medicine included patient exam rooms, a CT scanner, and a PT training room. Additionally, there were extensive memorabilia artwork and custom installations. UW Neighborhood Clinic Primary Care included patient exam rooms and staff support areas.
The project was a success for the UWMC. All was completed on schedule and under budget.
